Mulled wine, also called vin chaud in France, glühwein in Germany or Glögg in Sweden, is a very ancient European tradition. It seems that variations of this drink were already prepared in Ancient Rome.
Mulled wine is a drink basically made of wine, sugar, or honey (in our opinion optional, as wine is already quite sweet), citruses, and spices. it is consumed especially during Christmas times, when it is cold. This drink is usually associated with the month of December and can be found in many Christmas markets for example.
